Terms of Service – Larptree

1. Scope
(1) These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the "Larptree" platform (the "Service"), available at larptree.com, operated by:

(2) The Service allows registered users to create and publish a public profile page containing a curated list of links (e.g. to social media profiles, websites, shops).
(3) By registering a user account, the user accepts these Terms. Deviating, conflicting, or supplementary terms proposed by the user do not become part of the agreement unless we expressly agree to them in writing.
2. Description of the Service
(1) Larptree provides a platform that lets users:
a) create a user account,
b) design a personal profile page under a self-chosen username (e.g. larptree.com/username),
c) add, sort, and publish a list of links with a title, description, and optional image.
(2) The Service is currently provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid add-on features ("Premium Features") in the future. This does not automatically make existing free core features chargeable; we will announce any paid features and their terms separately.
(3) There is no entitlement to any particular availability, feature set, or continued development of the free Service. Section 7 remains unaffected.
3. Registration and User Account
(1) Use of certain features (in particular, publishing your own profile page) requires registering a user account.
(2) The user must provide truthful and complete information upon registration and keep it up to date.
(3) Registration and use are permitted for individuals 16 years of age or older. Minors under 16 require the consent of a legal guardian.
(4) The user must keep their login credentials (password) confidential and protect them from access by third parties. The user is liable for actions taken using correct login credentials to the extent the user is responsible for the misuse.
(5) In principle, one user account is intended per person. Creating multiple accounts for abusive purposes (e.g. to circumvent a suspension) is prohibited.
4. Permitted Use / User Content
(1) The user is solely responsible for all content published via their account (profile picture, description text, link titles, linked destinations — "User Content").
(2) The user warrants that they hold all rights necessary for the User Content and that it does not violate applicable law or the rights of third parties (in particular copyright, trademark, personality, and data protection rights).
(3) In particular, it is prohibited to publish or link to content that:
a) violates applicable law,
b) incites violence, hatred, or discrimination,
c) contains or links to sexual content involving or targeted at minors,
d) distributes malware, phishing, or fraud,
e) infringes third-party copyright, trademark, or other protected rights,
f) is misleading or deceives third parties (e.g. impersonating another person without disclosure).
(4) We are entitled to remove or restrict User Content that violates paragraph 3, or where there is a reasonable suspicion of such a violation, without prior notice.
(5) In the event of repeated or serious violations, we are entitled to suspend or delete the affected user account (see Section 8).
5. Grant of Rights
(1) The user grants us a non-exclusive right, limited to the duration of the registration, to use the User Content they upload for the purpose of operating the Service (in particular storage, display on the profile page, and technically necessary reproduction).
(2) Beyond the rights required to operate the Service, we do not acquire any rights to the User Content. The user retains ownership of their content.
(3) The Larptree brand, logo, and design, as well as the software and structure of the Service, are protected by copyright and trademark law. Use beyond the intended use of the Service is not permitted without our prior consent.
6. Availability and Changes to the Service
(1) We aim to keep the Service available as continuously as possible but do not guarantee any specific availability (no SLA), as this is a free Service.
(2) Maintenance work, technical disruptions, and disruptions outside our control (e.g. outages at hosting/infrastructure providers such as Lovable/Supabase) may cause temporary limitations.
(3) We reserve the right to change, expand, or restrict the feature scope of the Service at any time, and to discontinue the Service entirely. In the event of full discontinuation, we will inform registered users with reasonable advance notice where possible (generally at least 30 days).
7. Liability
(1) We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, as well as for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health.
(2) In the case of slightly negligent breach of a material contractual obligation (an obligation whose fulfillment enables the proper performance of the contract in the first place and on whose observance the user may regularly rely), our liability is limited to the damage typically foreseeable at the time the contract was concluded.
(3) Liability is otherwise excluded. This applies in particular to damages caused by third-party content (including linked websites of other users), data loss caused by the user, or outages of third-party providers (hosting, infrastructure).
(4) We assume no responsibility for the content of external websites linked via Larptree. Responsibility for such content lies solely with the respective operators.
8. Term, Termination, Account Deletion
(1) The usage agreement is concluded for an indefinite period.
(2) The user may delete their account at any time, without giving reasons, via the account settings or by emailing darindarwish11@gmail.com.
(3) We may terminate the usage relationship for convenience at any time with 14 days' notice (e.g. upon discontinuation of the Service).
(4) The right to extraordinary termination for good cause remains unaffected for both parties. Good cause exists for us in particular in the event of a violation of Section 4 of these Terms.
(5) Upon termination of the usage relationship, the account and associated profile page are deactivated; data is deleted in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to these Terms
(1) We reserve the right to amend these Terms with effect for the future, to the extent necessary to adapt to changed legal or technical circumstances or to reflect new features, provided the existing contractual balance is not materially shifted to the user's disadvantage.
(2) We will notify registered users of changes with reasonable advance notice (at least 14 days) by email or via a notice within the Service. If the user does not object within this period, the amended Terms are deemed accepted; we will separately draw attention to this legal consequence.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
(1) These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, to the extent legally permissible.
(2) If the user is a consumer with habitual residence in the EU, the mandatory consumer-protection provisions of their home country remain unaffected (Art. 6 Rome I Regulation); this choice of law does not override those mandatory provisions.
(3) The exclusive place of jurisdiction for disputes with business users is Tbilisi, Georgia. Mandatory statutory places of jurisdiction (in particular for consumers) remain unaffected.
11. Language Versions
These Terms are available in English and German ("AGB"). In the event of any inconsistency between the versions, the English version shall prevail.
12. Final Provisions
(1) Should individual provisions of these Terms be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is unaffected.
(2) There are no side agreements.
